Does the AI send messages on its own?
Only when you have told it to. By default Deed drafts and you approve: every reply waits for your OK, and you can edit it first. If you switch on a playbook, such as an instant reply to a portal enquiry, Deed sends that one kind of message for you, in your own words, and nothing wider.
Does it work with my WhatsApp number?
Yes. If your number is on the WhatsApp Business app, you connect it by scanning a code from inside the app, and you keep using the app on your phone exactly as before: your chats stay where they are, and your work conversations reach Deed too. Deed keeps nothing from contacts you mark as personal. If your number is on ordinary WhatsApp, move it to the free WhatsApp Business app first, or connect a separate business number.
Can I run my day from my phone?
Yes. Deed runs in your phone's browser, so you can read a new enquiry, approve the drafted reply and check your diary between viewings. Nothing to install, and the full workspace is on your laptop when you're back at your desk.
Is my clients' data safe?
Your book stays yours. Deed is built POPIA-first: personal identifiers are redacted before any AI reads a message, every action is audited, and we never sell your data or share it for anyone else's use.
How do I cancel, and do you refund?
You cancel yourself, inside Deed, at any time. No cancellation fee, no notice period, no minimum contract, and your access runs to the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund part of a month you've used, but if something goes wrong on our side or a payment is taken twice or after you cancelled, we put it right. The full policy is on our billing page.
Can I take my book with me if I leave?
Yes. Your book is yours, not ours, and there's no lock-in. As a solo agent you can take your contacts, listings and deals with you at any time (Settings, Workspace, Take your book with you), and we delete your data on request. In an agency, an agent's own contacts, deals and listings go with them when they move on, while listings under a live mandate, and the work they shared with a colleague, stay with the agency.
What does Deed cost?
Nothing right now. Deed is in early access and every feature is free while we build with our first agents and agencies. Before we ever charge a rand, you'll get clear notice in plain language.
How do I get access?
Join the waitlist. We're bringing agents on in small groups so everyone gets a proper start, and we'll write to you the moment your spot is ready.
Can I refer another agent?
Yes. Once you're using Deed, Settings has your own link to share. The agent you send joins the waitlist like everyone else, and we'll know you sent them.
Can I bring in my Property24 listings?
Yes. Paste your Property24 or RE/MAX agent profile link and Deed brings in your listings. Your contacts come in from a spreadsheet or your phone's contacts, and Deed keeps the book tidy from there.
Do my Property24 enquiries land in Deed?
When they reach you on WhatsApp, yes. A buyer who taps WhatsApp on your Property24 listing lands in your Deed inbox, and Deed knows which listing they are asking about when it drafts your reply. An enquiry Property24 emails you lands too once you connect your Microsoft 365 inbox: it becomes a contact with a reply drafted. Your Property24 listings come in by importing your agent profile, which also lets Deed name the home an emailed enquiry is about.
