Join your team

Open the link whoever invited you sent you, on WhatsApp or by email. The page names the team and the role you join as, for example You'll join as an agent. Press Sign in to join.

The role comes with the link. Whoever made the link chose it, and it decides what you see in Deed, so you don't pick it. If it looks wrong, tell them before you join.

Press Continue with Email, type your email address and press Continue. Deed emails you an 8-digit code, subject Your Deed sign-in code. Type it in and press Verify & continue. The code lasts 10 minutes.

Continue with WhatsApp only works for a number already linked to a Deed account, so if you're new, use email. Start from the invite link, not from Deed's own sign-in page: while Deed is invite-only, the link is what lets a new email address in.

Deed brings you back to the invite, signed in. Check it's you: on a shared laptop, Not you? signs the last person out and brings you straight back. What Coastal Realty will see shows who sees what. Then press Join Coastal Realty.

Already use Deed on your own? Your own Deed comes with you. The invite shows what the team sees of it (everyone sees your listings, whoever runs the team sees your deals and tasks, and your diary is only yours) and asks about your contacts right there: Keep them to myself or share them with the team. After you join you go straight to Today, without the questions below.

A short welcome plays the first time: the people already in the team gather above a card that says Welcome to Coastal Realty. Press Let's go. To skip it while it plays, press Skip intro.

One question at a time, with your card changing as you answer:

• What should we call you? Pick Mr, Mrs, Ms, Dr, Prof or Adv and write your full name, as your team and your clients will see it.
• What do you call yourself? In your own words, like Rental agent. It shows under your name on your card, and your role from the link stays as it is. Leave it empty and the button says Skip.
• Pick your colour. Six colours for your card and the buttons your clients tap. You can change it any time.

Deed makes your card as a draft in that colour. Nothing goes public until you publish it yourself.

What's your part at Coastal Realty? Choose all that fit, at least one: Sales, Rentals, Commercial, Property management, Calling, Admin, Finance, Marketing or Leading the team. Deed shapes your day around it. A cold caller starts with Calling picked, an admin with Admin, and a principal or manager with Leading the team.

Your contacts. Your listings are the team's stock. Your contacts, and your conversations with them, are yours to share or keep: Keep them to myself (picked unless you change it) or Share them with Coastal Realty. You can change this any time in Settings.

Pick the day and the month of your birthday, or leave both empty: it's optional, and you can change it in Settings. Deed makes a small fuss on the day, and the team sees it. Press Enter Deed.

You land on Today, in Coastal Realty. Get set up lists three things, each with its own guide: bring in your book, start your first deal and connect WhatsApp.

Under More to connect, press Link number beside Sign in with WhatsApp next time. Your next sign-in code then comes on WhatsApp instead of email.
